Put the HUMAN back in HR

Hope you’re having a fantastic day in the world of business!  I am not sure about you but last week for me was hectic.  Not sure if it has something to do with the full moon, but I am back again 🙂

Today, let’s talk about something close to my heart – bringing humanity back to the workplace and boosting productivity along the way.

Here’s a story to illustrate: Anecdotes and Case Studies: Let me share a quick story. There was this company that used to see its team as mere cogs in the machine. Sound familiar? Well, I helped them to shift their focus to employee well-being, the transformation was nothing short of incredible. With a people-centric approach to HR, productivity soared, and the office buzzed with positivity.    And let’s face it – we all want higher productivity, right? It leads to more output with less effort, which ultimately translates to higher wages, economic growth, and increased profitability. It’s a win-win for everyone involved. This story is a testament to the power of prioritizing your people.

Making Work Feel Like a Place They Want to Be: Ever wished your workplace felt as relaxing and friendly as home? That’s exactly what we’re aiming for. When your team feels comfortable and valued, they’ll bring their best selves to work every day. It’s like creating a space where everyone feels like family.

Here’s the Deal: HR isn’t just about policies and rules; it’s about creating an environment where people thrive. Imagine a workplace where everyone feels supported and genuinely cared for – that’s the magic of focusing on the ‘Human’ side of HR.

Remembering You: I get it; some days, it might seem easier to just employ robots. But trust me, with a few small tweaks, you can get the best out of your team. It’s like finding the perfect notes in a symphony – each one contributes to the harmonious success of the whole.

And hey, don’t be too hard on yourself. Balancing the responsibilities of running a business isn’t easy. But growth is a journey, not a destination. You’re doing great!

Feel free to let me know if you’re interested in exploring more about creating a workplace that thrives on the ‘Human’ side. I’m here whenever you need me.

To a workplace filled with positive vibes,
Okay, now I read a lot about a workplace being a ‘family ‘ is a red flag.  This morning I read a post about Netflix referring to it as a professional sports team and I must say I quite like it.  Let me know your thoughts about the work family vs teammates.
