My client, a Hermanus based accounting firm is seeking a bookkeeper who can prepare accounts up to trial balance. Must have a working knowledge of monthly returns PAYE & VAT. Good general knowledge of spreadsheets will be advantageous.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Debits, Credits and Accounting principles
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literate
- 3-5 years experience (bookkeeping)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Well presented
- Strong business ethics
- Customer focused
- Good team player
- Very high sense of responsibility
- Own vehicle with valid, unendorsed driver’s license
- Due to the nature of the position, this role requires clear credit and criminal results
